Dean delivers deep understanding and experience across a broad range of property disciplines enabling him to strategically steer PRS Capital in collaboration with his team.
Experienced in managing substantial multi-million pound residential portfolios, advising on asset delivery and creation of new investment strategies, Dean is a respected industry figure practised in navigating the turbulent markets of recent years.
His reputation has earned him long-term relationships with national property companies, agents, private and institutional investors alike – all keen to capitalise on his well-crafted and intellectual understanding of investments, trends – and most importantly, the market.
Dean is now passionately inspiring both his executive team and the wider market on delivery of both private rented and affordable housing models. His pioneering approach for meeting both current and future housing supply is already changing the dynamics of the market.
A successful businessman and an established entrepreneur, Chris has successfully headed a number of substantial property acquisitions and investment projects.
Chris established his first company, the JCM Group, in 1990 to provide asset management solutions to retailers. Achieving rapid company growth, operating in the UK and international markets, the JCM Group delivered major contracts with organisations such as Tesco, Somerfield and Sainsbury’s. With over 300,000 sq ft premises in the Tees Valley the company supported and generated work for its over 250 strong employee base.
A strong understanding of preserving the balance between the private and public sectors, Chris has secured substantial levels of private investment for many regions, whilst maintaining strong relationships with local authorities and government bodies. Chris continues to grow his strong network of individuals and companies working in the property and construction industries as well as developing his relationships with a number of leading consultants specialising in regenerations projects.
Chris currently has a controlling involvement in a number of key regeneration sites in the UK, strategically planned to stimulate growth and maximise commercial and residential capacity.
Highly respected and seasoned executive, Kirk brings extensive experience leading residential, retail, student and investment projects throughout the country.
Kirks’ undeniable track record of performance in property development and investments means his approach has successfully delivered and managed purchases, developments and sales of thousands of residential properties over the last two decades in the UK.
A truly driven businessman with an ability to understand the nuances and needs of the investments he works with, Kirks’ attention to detail coupled with acute commercial awareness ensures all the needs of the private rented sector are met.
With vast experience of large scale industrial development projects both in the UK and internationally Trevor brings a wealth of knowledge in the property industry to the Capital PRS executive team.
A qualified chartered surveyor, Trevor’s early career saw him managing commercial development schemes with a combined value of around £150 million, for companies such as Graham Miller Sibilia and BT Newton and Company.
Trevor is a founding main Board Director of Helios, establishing the company in 1996 when it merged with his own company Fifth Avenue. He has over 20 years’ experience at director level and ongoing responsibility for the strategic direction and management of the Helios business.
Working in partnership with major investors including CalEast and CBRE Investors, Trevor has recently overseen a €1 billion logistics development programme focused on Central and Eastern Europe.
Trevor also established Helios SinoGulf in Abu Dhabi to capitalise on development opportunities in the Gulf and was instrumental in creating a master plan for a new logistics park in Al Ain and for advising Abu Dhabi Airports Company on logistics real estate developments
Having been awarded the CBE in the 2009 Queen’s birthday honours for services to regeneration and the current commissioner of English Heritage and chair of its finance committee, John’s commitment and passion for regeneration is of the highest order.
John has 24 years’ experience of local government, reaching the position of assistant county treasurer for Tyne and Wear County Council. He was also chief finance officer for Northumbria police reporting to the Chief Constable, director of finance, Teesside Development Corporation and spent 4 years as a management consultant with Stoy Hayward Consulting, specialising in regeneration.
Recent work has seen John spent 14 years with English Partnerships, the national regeneration agency for England and has held numerous positions, including finance director, chief operating officer and more recently has served as the chief executive for the last two years.
A trusted veteran of the public sector, John working with English Partnerships, has created a number of joint ventures with the private sector including Priority Sites Ltd, a 49/51% company with RBS. Priority Sites Ltd has now been running for over 10 years, with John holding the role of company director. He also created a joint venture company with Langtree, to develop managed workspace in former coalfield areas.
Further projects have seen John help create, develop and run the English Cities Fund, which undertakes area regeneration in city areas and he has also served on the boards of five of the Urban Regeneration Companies, namely Sunderland, Tees Valley, Sheffield, Hull and Leicester.
John has continued his work with the public sector and whilst at English Partnerships has continued to offer strategic advice serving on the Investment Committee of the Department of Communities and Local Government, which considered all major projects prior to their submission to Treasury. In this role John was involved in numerous meetings and negotiations with the Treasury in relation to funding allocations, resource accounting issues, public/private sector funding arrangements and also served on the board of the Housing Corporation.
Whilst at English Partnerships he chaired the projects committee, which reviewed, assessed and approved all projects promoted by English Partnerships throughout England. John’s wide ranging experience of regeneration both from the public and private sectors, ensures that Capital PRS can benefit from balanced and informed strategic advice.
